The Canal de Isabel II corporate website has been designed to be easily accessible for disabled people and the elderly, in accordance with the Law on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce. Consequently, some of the principal objectives considered during the construction of the Website include:
- Facilitate access to users regardless of their physical condition or environment.
- Permit access to the content using any browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) and facilitate the correct operation of external applications.
- Include clear and well-structured content.
- Improve user experience and browsing.
In this respect, Canal de Isabel II has observed the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), at AA level, and the guidelines established through the Web Accessibility Test (WAT).
In addition to following the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) recommendations of the World Wide Web consortium (W3C).
